If the university is closed or has a delayed opening, classified employees can use Closure Leave for the work time missed due to the closure.  Closure Leave is entered directly on the timesheet.

1. After accessing your timesheet, select Closure Leave from the Pay Code drop down list:

2. Enter the number of hours and add comments:

3. Save your timesheet:

If the date has been designated a closure day (Corvallis Campus only), you will see the hours listed and no exception:

If the date has not been designated a closure day (Bend, Portland, Newport, other locations), a red level exception will generate – your supervisor will review the time entered and acknowledge the exception if a closure was scheduled for your location:
