If you are late, discuss with your supervisor how they would like you to make up or account for the time.

EmpCenter will calculate the total time worked for the week.  If you do not work enough hours to fulfill your FTE (e.g., 40 hours for a 1.0 FTE, 20 hours for a .5 FTE), EmpCenter will display the following exception to notify you of the missing hours:

empcenter fewer hours fte exception

This exception may occur if you were late and did not make up the time or enter leave time (i.e., sick, personal, etc.) to account for the missed time, if you missed clocking in or out, or if you forgot to add leave time to your timesheet.

When you add the additional time needed to your timesheet, the exception will be cleared.  If you do not correct the hours listed on your timesheet before you submit the timesheet at the end of the pay period, then you will be docked pay.
