EmpCenter Mobile is a simplified version of the system designed to allow easy access to common time entry tasks.  However, not all processes are available in Mobile.  The lists below highlight the differences between the Mobile version and the Desktop version of EmpCenter.

Employees

Task that can be completed in Mobile:

  • Clocking In/Out (for clocking profiles)
  • Timesheet time entry
  • Submitting the timesheet
  • Submitting time off requests (single leave type only)

Tasks that cannot be completed in Mobile (log off and use the Desktop Version link):

  • Viewing past assignments
  • Using more than one leave type on time off request
  • Adding attachments to time off request
  • Requesting protected leave (OFLA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Running reports
  • Accessing MyTime or Support for assistance
Supervisors

Tasks that can be completed in Mobile:

  • Viewing/editing employee timesheets
  • Viewing/approving/rejecting/canceling employee time off requests
  • Approving timesheets
  • Employee options as described above

Tasks that cannot be completed in Mobile (log off and use the Desktop Version link):

  • Viewing exceptions, time off requests, and timesheet submissions from the supervisor dashboard
  • Assigning schedules
  • Delegating timesheets to another supervisor
  • Creating time off requests for employees
  • Group time entry
  • Running reports
  • Accessing MyTime or Support for assistance
HR/Business Center/Other Roles

You will only have access to the employee and/or supervisor tasks as described above.  For access to your other roles, you will need to log off Mobile and use the Desktop Version link
