The Corvallis campus had limited operations on Thursday, December 22nd and Friday, December 23rd, 2022 and the Cascades campus was closed on Friday, December 23rd.
If you were able to work remotely or had pre-approved leave for either day, you record your time as normal.
For Classified employees that were unable to work remotely, Closure Leave is available to use for 12/22 and 12/23. See the Entering Closure Leave FAQ for more information. Supervisors, the closure is programmed in EmpCenter so you do not need to acknowledge the leave, you would approve timesheets as normal. See the Approving Closure Leave FAQ for more information.
If you are required to work on campus during the closure, you will be paid 1.5X your regular rate IF you enter Essential Time in addition to worked hours for all hours worked; your supervisor must approve it. To be paid 2.5X your regular rate for any hours worked during the closure, you must also add Closure Leave with Essential Time.
