EmpCenter allows time off requests to be made up to 365 days from the current date. The system will show your balance as of the current date, but you are responsible for ensuring you still have the time available when the leave occurs.
When a time off request is approved, EmpCenter will add the leave to your timesheet for the dates requested.

You can request time off for up to 365 days from the current date in EmpCenter Mobile just like the Desktop version. However, you can only use one leave pay code per request in Mobile. If you need to use more than one pay code, you will need to access EmpCenter from a computer to view the Desktop version.
1. After selecting My Time Off from the Dashboard, click on Create New Request:

You can print your timesheet from EmpCenter, however the default print setting is to print everything in the My Time Entry view (the timesheet, exceptions, leave balances, and results). You can limit what is printed by changing your print preferences.

Please note schedules are not required for any employee. EmpCenter has a rudimentary scheduling component that allows for the assigning of a limited number of schedule templates to employees. The functionality may not meet all of your scheduling needs and only affects Classified employees' timesheets and hours.

At the end of the pay period you are responsible for verifying the information on your timesheet and submitting it to your supervisor for review. EmpCenter will send an email reminder to submit your timesheet as the pay period end nears.
A: If you have more than one job, or assignment, you can easily switch between your assignments when you are viewing your timesheet.

You may need to unapprove an employee's timesheet after approving it to allow the employee to make changes to the timesheet. Complete the following steps to unapprove:
1. From the dashboard, select Approve Timesheets:
Reminder: if you do not see the Approve Timesheets link, click on the arrow icon at the bottom of the Time Entry section to expand the options.

EmpCenter uses your Banner Preferred Email for all notifications. If you need to update your email address, follow the instructions below.
Note: updating your Banner Preferred Email will change the email for all Banner notifications - not just EmpCenter.
1. Log on to MyOregonState using your ONID username and password. You will also need to authenticate with Duo.

If you need to use multiple leave types for a time off request – or make other changes to the request such as hours used – you can make changes on the Request Detail page before to submitting the request.

After accessing the Approve Timesheets page, you can review all actions taken on a timesheet for current and past pay periods.
For the current pay period timesheet history, click on the History icon in the Approval column:

You can view time off requests* at any time – whether they are approved, pending, cancelled, or rejected.
After selecting My Time Off from the Employee Dashboard, click on the Time Off Request you would like to view from the Request List:

After you have delegated your employees to another supervisor, you can view your delegation and/or revoke the delegation.

If you have changed assignments (jobs), you will not see your timesheets from past assignments using the pay period navigation on the My Timesheet screen. Timesheets from previous assignments are found under View Past Assignments.
